Spring 2010 Art Show and Sale

We are thrilled to announce that The Silhouette Art Group just enjoyed another successful spring Art Show and Sale on April 17th, 2010. The show was held at a spacious and well-tended venue at St. Cecilia's Church at 321 90th Ave SE. The show consisted of approximately 160 pieces of art created and displayed by eleven artists, all of whom were in attendance and more than pleased to discuss their art in depth. We attracted a large amount of interest, with over 300 art lovers coming during show hours (10am - 5pm) to enjoy the creations of our talented artists. The pieces displayed varied from oil and acrylic paintings, both in the classic and contemporary styles, to more rare and unique mediums such as batik (painting on silk), pen and ink, and pastel. A wide spectrum of subjects was featured, ranging from portraits to landscapes to highly stylized and abstract works. We would like to thank everyone who attended for their support. As artists, your interest in our works reflects our accomplishments, and seeing your appreciation for our art is both humbling and inspiring. We would also like to extend our gratitude to St. Cecilia's Church for holding our exhibition and being such gracious hosts. Thank you all, and we hope to see you at our next show!
