recently completed another successful exhibition on Nov 27 at St Cecilia Church. The show was very well attended with the public streaming through the exhibition continuously from opening to closing. Nearly 150 pieces of art were presented, ranging from the highly colourful, expressive work of Artur Urvantsev to the moody, atmospheric photographs of Will Paigie. In between could be found the surreal visions of Elena Cowen-Priputnikova and the beautiful warmth of Iryna Zayarny's oil portraits. The work of these talented artists only scratches the surface of the range of work presented by Silhouette's many talented artists.
Silhouette welcomes Carol Bortenlanger to the Group. Carol's highly rendered graphite portraits of well known public figures adds yet another facet to the range of art created by Silhouette.
This was a fitting conclusion to another year of artistic excellence of Silhouette Art Group and its talented members.
